Camera control
Camera control is available for Astroart as plug-ins. This allows us to support new models very quickly.
The control of telescopes, filter wheels and focusers is integrated in Astroart and it's updated in Service Packs.
Download and run the installer (SetupDriverChecker.exe) which will install and run the SBIGDriverChecker.exe program. Finally, click on the Update button. Click here to download and install SetupDriverChecker.exe which includes the latest camera drivers. 32/64 Bit Driver FAQ; CCDSoftV5 For all SBIG cameras with parallel or USB interface. The latest version of the SBIG camera drivers are required. You can download them from Some SBIG cameras are capable of being operated in TDI mode. For Ethernet connection, select Ethernet and enter the correct IP Address for the camera. The IP Address is ignored when connecting to a USB camera. Update (Nov 04, 2014) Another SBIG camera controller is Ekos, which is said to be a complete astrophotography stack for Linux that supports all of SBIG CCD/Filter wheel features. The author says you can even use SBIG CCD hooked to a raspberry PI. It's oriented toward Ubuntu users, but source code is provided.
ASCOM (Atik, QHY, ZWO ASI, Orion, etc.) - Version 2.10
A generic plugin which supports all cameras compatible with the ASCOM interface. It's now always included in the Astroart Setup.
SBIG provides the SBIG Driver Installer.pkg for installing the low-level USB drivers and the SBIG Universal Driver Framework. Double click this file to install the drivers and library. Once the drivers have been installed it’s a good idea to run SBIG’s CCDOps Lite for OSX software to make sure you can talk to your camera. CCDOPS and SBIG Universal Driver. Nikon™ DSLR cameras - Version 1.40
For Nikon cameras with Bulb control via USB or DSUSB, (since 2012-2013, so: D5200, D5300, D5500, D5600, D7100, D7200, D600, D610, D750, DF, D4S, D500, D800, D800E, D810, D810A, D850, D5, 1V3) and (D5100, D7000, D300, D300S, D700 using the Shoestring DSUSB bulb cable).
